The Troublemakers

Bringing a Metric Carp Ton of fun to Sunday & Monday nights

We are a casual Alliance raid team on the Aerie Peak server and part of the Convert to Raid guild. We are looking to make progression in normal and heroic raids for World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth.

A Farewell to Legion...

...and also, this is how I make up for my lack of raid reporting for Antorus. Sorry, ya'll.

BOSS MAN PALADIN walks into Aurane's office. His first thought was she was hiding behind the stacks of papers, but she was not to be found, only piles of papers everywhere. He grabs a stack off her desk and glances at it.

"What is this?", he whispers, and begins to read.

OH MY GADGETS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!

** A clearly angry gnome stands in the doorway **

BOSS MAN PALADIN: I was um (quickly hides papers behind his back), looking for you, and wondering if, um....(gathering composure) I was wondering where you have been and what happened to the raid reports?

AURANE: And not respecting one's privacy, I might add.

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Well, you didn't answer any of my messages. What was I supposed to do? What is this? (pulling the papers from behind his back) It's not a raid report.

AURANE (glances at his hand and snatches the papers away, clutching them to her chest): It's...my screenplay.

BOSS MAN PALADIN (blinking): You're....screenplay?

AURANE: Yes, I've been trying to get in on this new film project in Gadgetzan.

BOSS MAN PALADIN: It's not the goblins again, is it?

AURANE (shoots BOSS MAN a quick glare): DON'T! They aren't all bad, ya know.

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Fine. What's this project you are so excited about.

** They are interrupted by a rather gruff worgen mailman. **

WORGEN: Priority envelope for you Aurane.

AURANE (squeals): Oh! This might be it! (leaps over a stack of papers and grabs the envelope from the worgen who huffs and walks off to his next delivery).

AURANE rips open the envelope, eyes wide reading, then re-reading. Face frozen.

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Well?

AURANE: Oh, you're still here? I'M IN!!!! /happy dance

BOSS MAN PALADIN: What does that mean? Are you coming with us next week or?

AURANE: Oh no, but don't worry. I already took care of everything in case this happened. I've got someone lined up to cover the raid reports. He's a good guy. I think you'll like him. You two have a lot in common.

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Yes but...

AURANE: Did I show you the trailer we made?

BOSS MAN PALADIN: No, but, we really should discuss..

AURANE: Hang on! It's around here somewhere (sounds of shuffling paper)....FOUND IT!

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Aurane, I...

AURANE: Shhhhhh....watch!

** They watch **

** a moment of silence **

BOSS MAN PALADIN: Aurane, we are going...

AURANE: CRAP! Is that the time? I gotta go pack. GADGETZAN awaits!

** Aurane runs out of the room **

BOSS MAN PALADIN: ...to miss you. /sigh

TO BE CONTINUED...see you in Battle for Azeroth!

Here's to an heroic end of the year!

I'll admit, I've totally been slacking on our heroic progression posts this time around. The first time you kill a boss it's exciting, but by the time you get to killing them on heroic....maybe not so much. BUT, watching us progress through heroic fights has been awesome! We go from a bunch of sloppy joes to...well, not-so-sloppy joes. Quite often our kills are "messy, but effective". I don't care. I'll take it, because the team excitement at the end of those messy kills is what makes it fun and brings us back for more.

So, as we move through Winter Veil and inch ever closer to Nighthold, we still have our sights set on clearing Heroic Emerald Nightmare (only 2 more to go), and roflstomping Trial of Valor. Can we do it? Time will tell. Merry Resetmas everyone!

Things we learned: Lag sacrifices everything and now I need to reroll pally. ;)

No no....there is too much, lemme sum up.

Yeah, yeah,

I've been slacking on the updates, I know, I know. Despite being in the expac lull, Troublemakers have been keeping on, keeping on.

Is there an echo in the house?

(((((((echo))))))

*crickets*

Well, where did we leave off last...heroic Gorefiend? That leaves us:

Heroic Fel Lord Zakuu - DEAD
Heroic Shadow-Lord Iskar - DED TOO
Heroic Xhul'horac - DEDDER
Heroic Socrethar - DED DED DED

Here's proof on that one...

Lookit that shiny gold!

Aaaand we have caught up to the present where we finally succeeded in taking out that bloody Tyrant last night....BAM!

Phew...that's a lot of killing!

That leaves us with only two more heroic bosses to down before the Legion hits. We got this! Let the countdown BEGIN!

- Aurane

Things we learned: We like big butts!

Hey guys! We're officially heroic raiders!

I show up late to raid and I'M the one stuck doing all the paperwork.

I was only ONE boss late. Sheesh! All I hear now is...

"Don't forget to claim the double payout, Aurane."
"Have you submitted the claim yet, Aurane."
"I need my check by the end of the week, Aurane."

Well ya know what? The check is in the mail. *nyah*

I shouldn't be all snarky. The team did an awesome job last night. We earned it! We needed a break from our attempts at normal Archimonde and thought we would take another stab at heroics for some gear upgrades. Our last stab at heroics, how shall we say, involved a spanking...and not in a good way.

By the time this little gnome got to raid, (hey, my legs are short!) the team already had Assault down and was working on Reaver. Heroic bosses continued to fall...High Council, then Kormrok, then time ran out. Even on heroic, we were mostly one or two shotting bosses. It felt good! Actual gear upgrades fell for people, and it was good.

We are now officially an heroic team in Hellfire Citadel! It feels good.

*CHEERS*

< goes back to filling out paperwork >

Things we learned: Giving away loot feels so much better than DEing it.

- Aurane

Heroic Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap!

We're double dealin'...five bosses into normal Highmaul and last night we decided to give Heroic Kargath another shot....BOOM!

Things we learned: Two healers CAN make a difference and, even on heroic, Kargath STILL has a thing for gnomes.
