The Troublemakers

Bringing a Metric Carp Ton of fun to Sunday & Monday nights

We are a casual Alliance raid team on the Aerie Peak server and part of the Convert to Raid guild. We are looking to make progression in normal and heroic raids for World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth.

...and we weren't even trying!

No new boss kills this week, but we did throw ourselves repeatedly at Socrethar our first night. I vaguely remember him getting to the 40%ish range, but there might have been one-too-many blows to the head to be sure.

So for night two, we took out our frustrations by cleaning house from the beginning. We wiped on trash more than we did on bosses...at least, that's how it felt. We were pretty in the zone until suddenly...

Kilrogg goes down and Ariok is still standing. What the what? We weren't even trying for the achievement and yet there it was. Congrats everyone who got their Ariok follower. May he bring you many awesome garrison things...if you are even still doing garrison missions, that is.

Things we learned: Aurane is getting very tired of short jokes and wonders if anyone reads this far. :P

Go wide! I'm OPEN!!! - TOUCHDOWN!!! Shadow-Lord Iskar defeated.

I'm just going to say it.

This week was some good raiding. We may have found our sweet spot. Let's keep it going gang. We had awesome farm boss clears (with completely new folk in tow). Numbers were good. Moral was good. We even ALMOST one shot Gorefiend when we got to him. Why did we struggle for so long?

Killing Gorefiend early in our second night meant facing a new foe. Will it be Socrethar or Iskar? Once up top, we decided to face off with Shadow-Lord Iskar. There was the new boss strat discussion. A gnome may have fallen asleep [UNCONFIRMED].  Until finally, it was go time!

Chakrams started flying. Lasers pew-pewed! People started passing...

*gnome dancing*

Wut?

Ahem, needless to say, our first attempt had him below 40% and with each pull, we saw even lower numbers until...

We stomped him so hard that we actually ended the night a little early and on a high note. Go team!

Things we learned: Never listen to Ix when he tells you to scissor kick someone in the head for being late to raid.

Who put the dogs out? (WE DID!!!)

{POOF, POOF, POOF, POOF}

Yup, I went there. You can thank me later for THAT earworm. *snicker*

The Troublemakers, did indeed, put those dogs out and downed Flamebender Ka'graz last night!

Special shout out to Liet for filling in a melee role. He may have been more excited than some of us on our progression kill. Thank you for your energy and enthusiasm.

After downing Hans & Franz and Flamebender, with only 20 minutes to spare, we decided not to waste the rest of the night and cleared trash to Beastlord Darmac in record time. BOOM! ONE SHOT! Our cleanest kill yet. Our "going with the flow" award of the night goes to Ixsander for tanking Beastlord without having studied the fight. It's like he knows how to tank, or something. ;)

Still one more night left in our raiding week. Will we see Thogar go down too? Stay tuned to find out.

Things we learned: Aknor Steelbringer is a ladies man. Watch out ladies!

OPENING NIGHT! - 2 bounties claimed!

The Troublemakers stepped into the arena for the first time last night and ferociously claimed 2 bounties.

Things we discovered: Kargath has a thing for gnomes and we one-shot the Butcher so hard, his body disappeared. Tectus and Brackenspore, you are on notice.
